Objectives

Search the dining room for Document #01. Interact with the radio to trigger Aya's first panic attack—follow the breathing mini-game by inhaling on the left trigger and exhaling on the right trigger. Failure increases corruption by 5%, affecting endings later.
Introductory Sigil Puzzle
Approach the shrine altar. Align glowing petals with matching kanji:
- Outer ring: rotate clockwise twice until Plum aligns with the northeast glyph.
- Middle ring: rotate once counterclockwise to position Lotus atop the incense burner.
- Inner ring: match Sakura to the floor engraving.

Garden Stealth Section
Two corrupted villagers patrol the path. Stay crouched, hug the right hedge, and throw a pebble (press R1/RB) to lure them toward the koi pond. When the bell chimes twice, sprint to the torii gate. Collect Omamori #01 hidden under the floorboard near the exit.
Prologue Boss – Grief Warden
The Grief Warden wields long-range tendrils. Strategy:
- Dodge left after the third roar; strike the exposed core with heavy attacks.
- Use the alkali craftable from herb + salt to cleanse corrosion mid-fight.
- Stagger the boss by detonating lanterns—shoot them as the Warden passes.
